DEPOR DEFEAT FOR CARDIFF Cardiff went down 1-0 at home to Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna in Saturday's pre-season friendly. A late goal from substitute Dioni gave the visitors victory at the Cardiff City Stadium. Former Spain star Juan Carlos Valeron provided his midfield colleague with a simple tap-in in the 83rd minute.
