Mark Hughes: Will face Swansea first up
QPR START AGAINST SWANSEA QPR provide new Swansea manager Michael Laudrup with his first Premier League opponents on August 18. Mark Hughes' side battled hard to retain their top-flight status in the closing weeks of 2011/12 and he will hope for a good start in their opening clash at Loftus Road. Norwich will be their first away trip seven days later before a horrendous run of fixtures in September which includes trips to Manchester City and Tottenham and a home clash with Champions League winners Chelsea. The trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United comes on November 24 with the Christmas period bringing home games against West Brom and Liverpool. New Year's Day will undoubtedly be a day in Hoops fans new calendars with the trip to Stamford Bridge the first of three London derbies in January. Manchester United visit Loftus Road on February 23 and the season ends with a tough run of three May fixtures at home to Arsenal and Newcastle and away at Liverpool on the final day. |
