Diego Forlan: Could exit Inter Milan
FORLAN COULD LEAVE INTER MILAN Inter Milan have confirmed Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro have made "a proposal" to sign striker Diego Forlan. The Uruguay international switched to the San Siro from Atletico Madrid over the summer but has only scored two goals in an injury-hit campaign. While insisting he wanted to stay at the club only last month, Brazilian outfit Mineiro have made an approach for the player. Inter director Marco Branca told Uol Esporte: "It's true, we received a proposal from Atletico Mineiro for Forlan. "We are in talks, but I cannot give any other information at this time. "Forlan is considering this possibility, but nothing is decided yet. "We are talking about it, but this is a complicated negotiation." |
