RKC Waalwijk clinched their place in the Europa League play-offs after an entertaining draw on the road at NAC Breda.
RKC took the lead through Rick ten Voorde but NAC hit back, establishing a 3-1 lead just after the hour mark thanks to goals by Alex Schalk, Omer Bayram and Robbert Schilder.
But RKC hit back for a point, levelling through Aaron Meijers and Sander Duits to secure eighth place and a shot at qualifying for European competition next term.
RKC wasted little time hitting the front, seven minutes on the clock when Ten Voorde surged clear of the home defence to plant a shot beyond Jelle ten Rouwelaar.
NAC hit back three minutes later when Henrico Drost was penalised for holding the shirt of Kees Luijckx at a corner kick and the referee pointed to the spot.
Schalk took the kick, burying the ball low beyond Jeroen Zoet.
The game caught fire in the second half, with the hosts going ahead on 59 minutes when Schilder crossed and Bayram arrived on cue to head home from an acute angle.
And NAC further increased their lead just after the hour mark when Schilder turned scorer, turning home Luijckx's low pass.
Within a minute the visitors were back in it, however, the unmarked Meijers receiving the ball in the area and having the simplest of tasks to find the target.
And the RKC fightback was complete in the 68th minute when Duits found the target to round off an enthralling contest.
