Borussia Monchengladbach can take it easy in Saturday's Bundesliga game in Mainz, according to their coach Lucien Favre.
Although he would like to see his side end the season on a high, he admitted that - having secured fourth place in the standings - "it is not enormously important" to do so.
"This was never our plan," he said. "We had only aimed to get to 40 points as quickly as possible - that was the plan.
"We benefitted a bit from the euphoria of staying up last season and we made a good start.
"We have played many very good performances and have been very dangerous for all of our opponents in the Bundesliga."
However, Favre will not be telling his players that they are permitted to lose at the Bruchwegstadion.
"I set up my team to win every game, or at least to try to win. Otherwise I would be in the wrong business," he told the Westdeutsche Zeitung newspaper.
Mainz coach Thomas Tuchel knows he is in the right business, and at the right club after signing a new contract this week.
He will remain in charge of Mainz until 2015 and says the best is yet to come from his team.
"Our development is not over yet," he said. "This is an extraordinary opportunity which Mainz are offering me.
"I want to establish Mainz in the Bundesliga and that is a great challenge."
He has managed that in his first three seasons with the club, leading them into Europe last season, while they avoided relegation with weeks to spare this term.
