Aberdeen have announced that goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has signed a new two-year contract.
The 32-year-old returned to first-team action this month after suffering a brain seizure last summer.
The former Dundee player joined Aberdeen in 2005 and has made 226 appearances for the club.
FT: Aberdeen 1 Hibernian 2 The Dons introduced another youngster in Cammy Smith for Fyvie, who had enjoyed a quiet game, while Hibs brought on David Wotherspoon for Francomb.
And Wotherspoon should have settled matters with less than 15 minutes remaining when O'Donovan slotted the ball into his path, but the midfielder blasted the ball over from only six yards out.
That did not prove costly as Pat Fenlon's side held on for maximum points ahead of Monday's bottom of the table clash against Dunfermline.
INTRO: Hibernian took a massive step towards avoiding relegation with a nervy 2-1 victory over Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
The visitors broke the deadlock when a Leigh Griffiths cross was turned into his own net by Mark Reynolds after seven minutes.
Sean O'Hanlon doubled the lead when he headed home 10 minutes later, but the Dons were much improved in the second half and Scott Vernon pulled a goal back after 53 minutes with a neat finish from close range.
