Lyon claimed a 1-0 win over brave part-timers Quevilly to lift the Coupe de France at a packed Stade de France thanks to Lisandro Lopez's first-half goal.
The Argentina international, who had already hit the post, volleyed home after good work by his young strike partner Alex Lacazette as the Ligue 1 giants dominated the first half.
Lacazette hit the crossbar early in the second period but Quevilly could have taken the clash to extra time as they also struck the woodwork.
The Championnat National outfit, semi-finalists two years ago, had already upset Rennes and Marseille on their fairytale run to the final this time around.
But there was to be no dream finish for the underdogs, as they emerged with only creditable defeat on the biggest stage.
