Yeovil are sweating over the fitness of Gavin Williams and Nathan Jones.

Williams has missed the Glovers' last two outings after picking up a calf strain in the 3-0 defeat at Charlton and remains a doubt for the Somerset side this weekend.

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson may also have to do without the services of left-back Jones, whose Achilles injury has left him rated 50/50 for the visit of Dale.

However, the Glovers will be able to call on Richard Hinds once again. The centre-back returned from a hamstring strain in the goalless draw with Bournemouth at Dean Court last time out and emerged through his comeback unscathed.

Nicky Adams is pushing for a starting place.

Adams came off the bench with Dale 2-0 down at home to Walsall last weekend and played his part in an attacking midfield role as John Coleman's side took a late 3-2 lead, only to be agonisingly pegged back by Andy Butler's injury-time leveller.

Neill Byrne made his Dale debut at right-back and will hope to retain his place.

Byrne's fellow defender Marcus Holness and midfielder Sean McConville were unused substitutes against the Saddlers but come into consideration as Coleman has a virtually full squad to choose from.

Former Accrington man McConville is yet to make his full debut for Dale since joining on loan from Stockport last month.

Midfielder Simon Hackney (abdominal) remains a long-term absentee and is unlikely to see action before the end of the season.
