Luke Howell continues to struggle with his knee problem ahead of Dagenham's trip to Port Vale.

The midfielder has missed the last two games with the complaint and will play no part at Vale Park, where the Daggers will be looking to extend a run which has seen them take seven points from the last nine and provide a real boost to their survival aspirations.

Manager John Still could well name an unchanged XI for the third successive match having stuck with the same side for last weekend's late 2-1 triumph over Accrington as the one which claimed a draw at Barnet.

The Daggers boast no new injury or suspension problems, but Matthew Saunders (ankle), Sam Williams, Peter Gain (both knee) and Kevin Maher (foot) all remain sidelined.
