Dave Winfield and Matt Bloomfield are major doubts for Wycombe ahead of the trip to Stevenage.

The influential pair missed the 1-1 draw at home to rivals MK Dons last weekend because of injury.

Defender Winfield was struggling with a recurrence of a thigh problem while a calf strain kept midfielder Bloomfield out.

Both players have resumed light training but Wanderers manager Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "They have been doing some work but Saturday's game will probably come too early for them."

Winger Joel Grant is also a concern after a knock on the leg and he will be monitored.

Leon Johnson will serve the second game of a two-match suspension while fellow defender Danny Foster could miss the remainder of the season with the shoulder injury he suffered at Bury a fortnight ago.
