TEVEZ ON TARGET FOR RESERVES
Carlos Tevez continued his Manchester City rehabilitation with a goalscoring appearance for the reserves on Wednesday night.
The Argentina striker, who has played as a substitute in the last two Barclays Premier League games after a six-month absence, scored one and made another in a 6-1 rout of Morecambe.
It is the second goal the 28-year-old has scored for City's elite development squad since returning to training a month ago.
His performance will increase speculation he could start Saturday's first-team clash against Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium.
Former England midfielder Owen Hargreaves also started the Central League game at Morecambe, while Spanish youngster Joan Angel Roman scored a hat-trick.
