Motherwell defender Steven Saunders on Tuesday made his return to action following seven months of rehabilitation.
Saunders ruptured his Achilles in early August while on Scotland under-21 duty and featured in a 2-2 draw with Livingston at Dalziel Park on Tuesday afternoon.
He told MFC TV: "It's good to be back playing; I have been training for three weeks but what I really need is bounce games.
"There was a bit of nerves, that's understandable for anyone out for seven months with a serious injury, but JP (club physio John Porteous) reassured me and that's good enough for me.
"It certainly was some day to come back. Everyone wants to play in the sun, the old summer football argument rumbles on, but it was good for me - it made me sweat."
