Hearts captain Marius Zaliukas returns from suspension for the William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final replay away to St Mirren.

Midfielder Mehdi Taouil is struggling with a back injury and has undergone a scan.

Rudi Skacel has recovered from a head knock and Hearts are hopeful that Stephen Elliott will shake off a hip problem but David Templeton (groin) remains out.

St Mirren will be without midfielder Paul McGowan and winger Dougie Imrie.

McGowan is suspended and Imrie is cup-tied for the quarter-final clash at St Mirren Park.

Better news for Saints is the return of left-back Jeroen Tesselaar, while striker Steven Thompson has recovered from a thigh injury.
