Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that promising forward Petros Skapetis has joined the club from Australian side South Melbourne.
The 17-year-old striker, who can also operate on the wing, has penned an 18-month contract at Loftus Road.
Considered to be one of the hottest prospects in Australian football, Skapetis will join QPR's centre of excellence as a first year scholar.
The club have high hopes for him and are keen to see all of their efforts to bring him on board, which included fending off interest from a number of other sides, rewarded on the field.
"We are pleased to bring Petros in," head of youth development Steve Gallen told the club's official website.
"He is a good lad. He's quick, bright, lively and he wants to score goals.
"He can also play on the flanks and get crosses into the box.
"He is a good addition to our youth department."
