Ian Holloway has praised his Blackpool players for overhauling their 2009/10 points haul.
The Seasiders claimed play-off glory two season ago having amassed 70 points in the Championship.
Tuesday night's 1-0 triumph over Leeds took Holloway's 2012 vintage to 71 with two games to play, and victory over Burnley on Saturday would secure a top-six spot once more and help to banish lingering memories of last season's relegation from the Barclays Premier League.
"It (the Leeds game) was a nice night for us but we don't want it to end horribly," Holloway said. "We're used to that, we've still got that horrible stinging - it felt like a jellyfish got us.
"But I don't want to feel like that again. Let's see if we can actually achieve something.
"To be honest, I feel we have already. We've got 71 points and my other team only got 70 throughout the whole season. So well done, but let's see if we can make that a few more as well."
