Southampton rookie Ben Reeves has joined League Two Dagenham on loan.

The 20-year-old midfielder agreed a month-long deal at Victoria Road and could make his debut against fellow strugglers Plymouth on Saturday.

Reeves made his first-team bow for Saints in September, starting their 2-1 Carling Cup win at home to Preston.

He has since gone on to make seven appearances for the south-coast outfit, four of which came from the bench.

His last run-out was in the FA Cup replay defeat by Millwall earlier this month.
